Getting to Know Denise
Denise Craig is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who provides a supportive space for clients to express themselves freely while gaining insight and clarity. She collaborates closely with clients to explore their experiences and identify patterns, tailoring treatment plans to meet their unique needs and foster lasting change.
Denise works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and the geriatric population through both individual and family counseling. Her specialties include abandonment, addiction and substance abuse, eating disorders, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ concerns, mood disorders such as bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, shame, intimacy issues, trauma, stress, codependency, and workplace mental health. She is certified in Mental Health Issues in Bariatric Surgery and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Denise utilizes a wide range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Life Coaching, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Multicultural Therapy, and Workplace Mental Health Support.
Her mission is to help clients shift negative life patterns and develop healthier thought processes to relieve emotional and psychological distress in a safe and affirming environment.
